Lets move to the OET listening subset. Important things to note in listening sunset of OET are:
- You will hear consultation only once.
- While listening you have to record your answers.
- You can use pencil or pen
- Headphones will be provided to you.
OET Listening sub-set has three parts.
Part A
In this part of the OET Listening test, you’ll hear two different extracts. In each extract, a health professional is talking to a patient.
Total number of answers you have to write are 24.
Total of 30 seconds will be given to read the extracts.
Part B
In this part of the OET Listening test, you’ll hear six different extracts. In each extract, you’ll hear people talking in a different healthcare setting.
Each extract will be having one, 3 optional question and you have to choose the best.
You will be given some time before each extract.
Part C
In this part of the Listening test, you’ll hear two different extracts. In each extract, you’ll hear health
professionals talking about aspects of their work.
Each extract will be having six, 3 optional questions and you have to choose the best.
You will be given 90 seconds before each extract to start.
